| ProxyXQ is a simple free proxy server. It offers a number of basic features that make it ideal for home and small businesses: just install it, configure the port you want to access the internet from, the port you want to listen for requests on, and you are up and running. Note that ProxyXQ only support proxy access for HTTP: FTP, SMTP/POP3, SSL nor any other protocols are supported. The following is a brief list of some of the many features ProxyXQ offers: Configurable port to listen on for proxy requests Ability to bind proxy services to specific IP addresses (for machines with more than one network card/adapter---can even bind to a dynamic dial-up IP) Real time connection viewing Real time data activity logging via a built in diagnostic window (can be turned off for better performance) Configurable buffer size for sending Full featured context menu accessible from the task tray Support for routing requests through another proxy (IP and port configurable) Ability to kill connections |
