your comparing nelary 2 different products. The main function of the camera is to record audio and video. The main purpose of the iPod is to playback mp3s. And yeah the iPod may look better, but I can bet your ass that you wouldn't give two shits if the best camera out there wasn't astheticaly pleasing to the eye. It gets the job done well and that's the point. Btw, I'm pretty sure that people who want to film stuff would use this and not an iPod touch
