I think you mean a netbook.Notebook is just anhteor name for a laptop.Netbooks are smaller and have no cd/dvd drive.Apart from that, a netbook can be just as good as a laptop.It depends on the specs, some netbooks have a very small hard drive and come with linux installed.My netbook is as good as my laptop, it came with Windows XP, 160 GB hard drive and 1GB of ram.I upgraded it to Windows 7 and upgraded to 2GB of ram.1GB of ram was perfectly ok for XP, and Windows 7 ran ok with the 1 GB, upgrading to 2GB speeded it up a little.I tend to use the netbook more than the laptop as it is so portable and does everything that my laptop does.Anyone who wants to play high end games would have to go for a laptop with good specs, i.e. a fast processor, plenty of ram and a good graphics card.
